Make the Itching Stop!

Hey guys, long time no blog, I know. Last week we had to mow the yard. I was weed-eating the ditch (weed-whacker, whatever) and it turns out, all of the poison ivy in the entire state is located in our ditch. So I've been spending the past several days trying to get the itching to stop. It got so bad I had to go to the doctor to get some medicine that'll get rid of it. Calamine lotion doesn't work, anti-itch cream, herbal remedies, I tried everything. It's starting to go away, and I feel much better. It should be gone pretty soon, maybe by Wednesday. Wish me luck.

Ugh! It took four months to get over my last bout with the poison ivy (and I have some blooming on my arm now) If it starts coming back, they aren't keeping you on the steroids long enough to keep it nipped.

Lol, Jean, yesterday we went outside and the poison ivy plants have spread up the yard and are starting to ring the house. I was like "No! They know where I live!"

Merylf: whatever stories you've heard, it probably doesn't do it justice, lol. And the thing that makes it really bad? I'm really allergic to it, and my grampa isn't. He was picking it out of our yard yesterday.
